Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Discount Tire Co. Inc. will host tire pressure check events in six cities this summer in conjunction with the Rubber Manufacturers Association (RMA).
Consumers in San Antonio, Dallas and Houston, Texas; Phoenix, Ariz.; Albuquerque, N.M.; and San Diego, Calif., will receive free examinations at local Discount Tire stores, plus free tire gauges and tire safety brochures.
Discount Tire and the RMA have already held tire safety checks in the Phoenix area.
Discount Tire is the third largest independent tire dealership in North America with some 450 retail outlets and more than $1 billion in annual profits, according to Modern Tire Dealer statistics.
