Michelin Retread Technologies Inc.'s (MRTI) new associate dealer program will let Michelin tire dealers sell and service retreads produced at MRTI facilities.
MRTI will provide technical support, shop signage, vehicle identification, product training and sales training to participating dealers.
The MRTI network currently has more than 200 points of sale, according to Michelin officials.
The new associate dealer program could boost that total to more than 1,500 locations, they say.
