BKT (USA) Inc. introduced the newest members of its Americas-based OTR management team at the Tire Industry Association (TIA) Off-the-Road Tire Conference being held in Marco Island, Fla.
Ron Tatlock has been named manager of training and engineering; Dave Neumann has been named USA OTR east zone manager; Jim Bee has been named USA OTR west zone manager; and Wilhelm (Willie) Brau has been named Latin America OTR zone manager. All four are tire industry veterans who most recently worked for Bridgestone Americas.
Tatlock and Brau will be based out of Nashville, Tenn., Neumann will be based out of Pawley's Island, S.C., and Bee will be based out of Huntington, Calif.
They will report to Rajiv Poddar, joint managing director of BKT.
Poddar said, "I am pleased to announce that BKT has added four new team members to our Americas-based OTR team. Combined, this group of highly respected, seasoned industry veterans have in excess of 140 years' specialized experience in the OTR industry."
He added, "This group immediately makes BKT a much better organization with the width and breadth of their experience. But even more importantly, they are all men of high character and are universally well respected in the industry."
Previously, the company added a key industry veteran to the BKT Canada OTR team, Keshav Das.
Das was named the head of OTR (sales and technical service), BKT Tires Canada Inc. He most recently worked for Bridgestone Corp.
He is based out of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
