Allaire and Gajewski join GITI Tire

GITI Tire (USA) Ltd. has named Armand Allaire vice president of marketing and Daniel Gajewski director, supply chain.

In his new position, Allaire will be responsible for marketing Giti Tire passenger, light truck and medium truck brands in both the U.S. and Canada, including GT Radial, Primewell, Runway and Dextero.

Allaire has extensive experience in the sales and marketing of passenger, light truck, medium truck and giant off road tires. The 36-year tire industry veteran previously held the position of national vice president of sales at Kumho Tire USA for all replacement tires in the U.S.  Prior to Kumho, he served as vice president of sales at Toyo Tire USA.

Gajewski will be responsible for logistics, forecasting and inventory replenishment for Giti Tire’s North American operations.

Prior to joining Giti Tire, Gajewski served as global supply chain leader at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. before leaving for an assignment with the U.S. military in Afghanistan. Gajewski managed factory direct programs and automotive OEMs, as well as lean and Six Sigma projects at Goodyear. He has an additional 28 years of experience as a US Army Officer in global logistics and in various supply chain/procurement roles in the metals and retail industries.
