General Motors Corp. (GMC) has named Bridgestone Corp. its Supplier of the Year.
This marks the sixth consecutive year Bridgestone has won that designation.
GMC's Supplier of the Year award started in 1992. Winners are based on quality, service, technology and price.
Twenty-one percent of GMC's light vehicles in the United States and Canada sport Firestone brand tires as original equipment, according to Modern Tire Dealer data.
