The Tire Industry Association’s (TIA) free Automotive Tire Service webinar series starts this week. More than 120 people have registered for the first class, which covers vehicle lifting.
The first round of webinars will take place three times a day – at 10:00 a.m., 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. EDT - for three days this week: May 19, May 20 and May 21. “Students will learn the basic steps to safely use a two-post, asymmetrical above-ground lift,” says Kevin Rohlwing, TIA senior vice president of training.
The second round of Automotive Tire Service webinars – which will cover tire demounting, mounting and inflation - will take place May 26, May 27 and May 28. The third round – scheduled for June 2, June 3 and June 4 – will cover tire balancing.
There is no charge for the Zoom-enabled webinars. Students must register at TIA’s website. After registration, enrollees will receive an email link.
