Nokian Hires Supply Chain Leader for the Americas

Nokian Tyres Inc. has hired Christy McDaniel to lead the company's supply chain efforts in the Americas region. The head of supply chain is a new position for the tiremaker, which is working toward its goal of doubling sales in the region by 2023.

McDaniel will manage logistics, supply chain planning and customer service divisions for Nokian in the Americas. She has two decades of experience organizing logistics and supply chain processes across a variety of industries. She joins Nokian from Danaher Corp., where she served in global leadership roles for multiple subsidiaries. She also has worked for Kimberly-Clark, Pfizer and BASF. She is a University of Tennessee graduate who earned a Master of Business Administration at Union University.

“Christy has extensive background in all areas of supply chain and has worked for several international companies. She will help drive supply chain excellence so we can reach our growth targets,” says Norbert Hecking, global vice president of supply chain for Nokian.
