Maxam Adds Two Tires for Port Applications to Lineup

Maxam Tire North America Inc. has unveiled two port tires, the MS307 PORTXTRA IND-3 and the MS407 PORTXTRA IND-4.

"To meet the heavy load requirements in port and terminal applications, the new PORTXTRA series utliizes innovative compounding and tread design to excced port sites' standards," say Maxam officials.

The series has been engineered "to provide customers with the highest level of productivity and longer operating hours."

The MS307 PORTXTRA IND-3 features an "all-steel, radial tread" and targets port applications that run heavy loads and long cycle times."

It contains an extra-wide tread profile and a reinforced sidewall, and has been manufactured to withstand high temperatures. It is available in four sizes, ranging from 12.00R20 to 14.00R24.

The MS407 PORTXTRA IND-4 contains a deep, belt-stabilized tread "that provides users with high levels of traction, longer tread life and low heat build-up. It also features a high-quality casing for retreadability and a cut-resistant compound. The tire is available in six sizes, ranging from 10.00R20 to 14.00R25.
