Hill Tire Co. is the eighth retreader in North America to join the Marangoni Tread North America Inc. team. The Atlanta, Ga.-based dealership signed on to manufacture and market truck tire retreads using the Ringtread System.
Hill Tire runs three commercial service locations. Ringtread equipment, including the Ringtreader 2000 computer-controlled retread builder, will be up and running at the company's Forest Park, Ga., facility by June 1.
"The decision to take on the Ringtread System was based on our strategic purpose to offer the highest quality retreads using the most advanced, state-of-the-art technology," said Fred Hill, co-founder of Hill Tire.
Jack Woodland, CEO and president of Marangoni Tread N.A., says the company's goal is to bring four more retreaders into the fold by year's end.
