Myers Tire Supply Boosts Inventory Levels

Myers Tire Supply says it has increased its inventory levels and enhanced its supply chains to “fully support our customers” during the COVID-19 crisis.

William Bailey, Myers’ director of operations, distributed the below letter to customers today:

“Myers Tire Supply (MTS) would like to thank our customers, supply chain partners and the transportation industry for pulling together and supporting each other during these challenging times.

“For the past 80 years, Myers Tire Supply has been developing industry leaders who bring customers and suppliers together to do what they do best. MTS sales and customer support teams, comprised of over 200 industry professionals, will continue serving the transportation industry, reaching the automotive, commercial, OTR, agricultural, and retreading markets across the country and around the world.

“As the number of COVID-19 cases continues to rise, safety remains our top priority. MTS is taking preventive measures to ensure the health and safety of our suppliers, our customers andour team members. We have implemented procedures and guidelines at each of our locations to provide our sites with concrete directives to address and respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, including executing guidelines issued by federal, state and local authorities, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

“We are closely monitoring various and fast-moving developments relating to COVID-19 and have resources in place to provide continued service. To assure uninterrupted services nationwide, MTS proactively increased inventory levels, enhanced our supply chain, and developed processes to fully support our customers who keep America rolling.
