Virginia Tire & Auto is now offering VTA2You, a complimentary pick-up and drop-off service, during the COVID-19 crisis.
“VTA2You enables customers to practice social distancing while keeping their life—and their car—in motion,” say Virginia Tire officials.
“VTA2You is available for no additional cost at all Virginia Tire & Auto locations.To use the service, customers call their local store to schedule a pick-up time. Store staff will come pick up the vehicle and take it to the store for service. Once the service is complete, staff will return the vehicle to the customer.”
“During these uncertain times, we hope that VTA2You helps take the stress out of car care in the communities we serve,” says Julie Holmes, Co-CEO of Virginia Tire & Auto. “As people avoid public transportation and airline travel, the family car is more important than ever. We want to make sure people/customers get the car care they need while protecting themselves and their families.”
Virginia Tire & Auto is asking customers who come into its stores to avoid lingering in waiting areas and to practice social distancing.
The dealership, which has 17 locations, is taking other measures to minimize the spread of COVID-19, including temporarily adjusting business hours; requiring employees to wear a new pair of gloves each time they enter a vehicle; and more.
