Burt Brothers Vendor Days Focuses on Team Training

Feb. 25, 2020

Over a two-day stretch Burt Brothers Tire & Service Inc. hosted experts from 15 tire brands to educate its sales staff and provide updates on the latest tire technology and products.

Burt Brothers says its annual "Vendor Days" are the secret to keeping its staff up to date on the latest tires, and ultimately recommending the right tires with their customers' vehicles.

Here's a look at the tire brands that participated in Burt Brothers Vendor Days Feb. 11-12:

Bridgestone Kelly Continental
Firestone Toyo General
Fuzion Hankook Nokian
Goodyear Laufenn Sumitomo
Dunlop Pirelli TBC Brands

Experts from each brand also talked about the brands upcoming promotions, as well as the right products for different consumers in the Utah market. One topic of discussion was winter tires and all-weather tires, which have experienced increased demand since September when the Utah Department of Transportation began requiring drivers of most passenger cars and light-duty trucks to have tires with the three-peak mountain snowflake symbol, or a traction device like chains, during weather events.

The event will be followed up with online training throughout the year.

Owner Jeremy Burt says the company makes the commitment to free up its entire sales team to attend the two-day event because it sees how the training benefits consumers.

“The right tires make all the difference in meeting our customers’ performance and safety needs for all kinds of roads and all of Utah’s seasons,” says Burt.

Burt Brothers is a family-owned and operated tire dealership with 12 locations along the Wasatch Front in Utah. The second generation of Burts, including Jeremy Burt, took over ownership in January 2019.
