Pirelli Tire North America Inc. has expanded its all-season lineup with the introduction of the Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus II. Available in 30 sizes, the tire is covered by a 70,000-mile limited tread wear warranty.
“The Cinturato P7 All Season Plus II presents a new tread compound and an optimized footprint for improved behavior on wet surfaces,” say Pirelli officials. “In particular, the new Cinturato P7 All Season Plus II showed an improved wet stopping distance.
Other areas of focus include wet handling and wet traction, "while maintaining the tread wear, winter traction, noise, comfort, dry handling and steering performance of the previous generation.”
Additional features include a new compound with increased silica content for improved stopping distance, as well as enhanced handling and braking, steering performance and more; an optimized footprint with a 5% larger contact area and “an optimized shape” for improved handling; and others.
Pirelli plans to add 20 more sizes to the tire over the next few months.
