Order Reprints

Alliance Tire Americas Inc. is voluntarily recalling 1,178 Galaxy DH241-G 16H commercial truck tires.

The products were made between June 22, 2019, and Nov. 17, 2019, at Alliance's plant in Dahej, India.

They are stamped with U.S. Department of Transportation Codes 2519 through 4619.

According to a statement from Alliance, the tire maker "is executing this voluntary recall in accordance with the company's commitment to ensure customer safety and satisfaction."

The recall was initiated in accordance with National Highway Traffic Safety Administration regulations and was issued "due to a potential manufacturing anomaly, which could result in a tread separation. There have been no reports of tire failure."

Alliance will replace the subject tires at no charge to the customer "through an authorized (Alliance) dealer."

For questions or help, contact the Alliance recall coordinator at (844) 921-2778 or email: recall@agtire.com.
