Jan. 31, 2020

Alliance Tire Americas Inc. is voluntarily recalling 1,178 Galaxy DH241-G 16H commercial truck tires.

According to a statement from Alliance, the tire maker "is executing this voluntary recall in accordance with the company's commitment to ensure customer safety and satisfaction."

The recall was initiated in accordance with National Highway Traffic Safety Administration regulations and was issued "due to a potential manufacturing anomaly, which could result in a tread separation. There have been no reports of tire failure."
