New Tech Videos Show Best Practices for Tire Repairs

Jan. 14, 2020

Tech Tire Repairs has a new digital trainer: Izzy. She presents best practices for tire repairs in videos posted on Tech’s YouTube channel.

The first two training videos focus on repairs of two newer types of tires. One video is on the noise reduction tires found on all modern electric vehicles; the other video covers self-sealing tires, which are being reintroduced to the market.

The company says the videos provide viewers with the proper process and tools needed to repair many different types of tires using Tech products.

Tech is committed to providing access to proper tire repair training, tools and support through Tech University, which was created in 1970. Since then, Tech’s vision to Teach Each Customer How is being fulfilled in its 3,000-square-foot, training facility in Johnstown, Ohio.

“Tech training curriculum combines both classroom and hands on training, and Izzy’s videos are an extension of our comprehensive training curriculum,” said Chris Intihar, Tech Americas general manager.

The company says the digital trainer, Izzy, brings tremendous energy, enthusiasm and relatability to today’s marketplace. The response to her initial videos has been overwhelmingly positive.

Tech plans for Izzy to regularly showcase its existing products, introduce new Tech tire and wheel products in future videos as well as be a fixture at all Tech events.
