Michael Sullivan has turned his tire business, Sullivan's Tire Pros, over to the next generation, and he's ready for a new adventure. He's joined Independent Tire Dealers Group LLC (ITDG) to serve as southern region sales director. Sullivan will be responsible for developing and managing business with ITDG's current members and shareholders, as well as working to expand the group's footprint within his territory. He'll report to Senior Sales Director Chris Barry.
Sullivan says, "I am truly excited about working with our members and believe ITDG offers independent tire dealers an incredible value proposition. ITDG was instrumental in the success of my business that I recently transitioned to my children."
Before he joined the tire industry, Sullivan had built a career in sales, and eventually became a vice president in the consumer products industry for Del Monte Foods.
He became owner of Sullivan's Tire Pros in Oakhurst, Calif. in 2001. Since inception the business has grown four-fold.
ITDG says that tire dealer background gives Sullivan a unique perspective in his new role. Sullivan’s Tire Pros will remain a shareholder in ITDG.
