Since forming the TA Truck Service Commercial Tire Network in 2016, TravelCenters of America LLC has been a mover and a shaker in the commecial tire industry.
It continues to shake things up with its latest two projects.
1. The Commercial Tire Network Customer Service Line is an 800-number that will connect its customers, including big and small fleets, to a tire expert to help answer any tire questions they might have and find the right tire application for their vehicles. "Whether long-haul, local, mountain, plains or other vehicles used in the commercial segment, a member of our team is ready to help answer any questions," says the company.
Tire experts will answer the number, (800) 311-1092, seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. EST.
2. Kickin' the Tires with Robert Armstrong. Armstrong, regional sales manager for the TA Truck Service Commercial Tire Network, will be the co-host of "Kickin' the Tires" on the Dave Nemo Show on SiriusXM's Road Dog Trucking Channel (channel 146) beginning in 2018. It will air at 7 a.m. CST the second Thursday of every month.
During the show, Armstrong will provide information tips and field call-in questions about the second largest vehicle expense -- tires.
