More dealers join Goodyear's Gemini advisory board

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has added 10 independent tire dealers to its Gemini Automotive Care National Advisory Board.

They include Keith Boyd, Boyd's Northgate Tire & Service, Westerville, Ohio; Drew Dawson, Medina Discount Tire, Medina, Ohio; Lee Glaze, Frasier Tire, Sumter, S.C.; Steve Slowey, Bell Road Tire, Nashville, Tenn.; Ray Patron, Moore & Patron Tire, Monroe, La.; Charles O'Banon, Results Associates, Denton, Texas; Charles Richards, Quail Springs Tire & Auto, Oklahoma City, Okla.; Barry Levin, Levin Tire, Highland, Ind.; John Savage, TAS Tire & Automotive, Ogden, Utah; and Frank Pyeatt, Santa Maria Tire, Santa Maria, Calif.

They join 11 other dealers on the Gemini board.

Members meet at least twice a year to vote on Gemini store policies and provide Goodyear with feedback.

The Akron, Ohio-based tiremaker launched Gemini in 1999 to replace its old Certified Auto Service stores. There are more than 1,800 Gemini outlets throughout the United States.
