Icahn Buys New York City Auto Parts Supplier

Icahn Automotive Group LLC has purchased B.S.& F. Auto Parts Inc. in New York City from Joe Ferrer.

Icahn has named Ferrer regional vice president of commercial in the New York City metropolitan area. He began his new duties on Nov. 29, 2017.

Ferrer’s father, Nick, founded B.S.& F. Auto Parts in 1980. Ferrer began working for his father’s business at age 11.

Located in the Bronx, B.S.& F. Auto Parts has a 10,000-square-foot warehouse.

In a statement, Icahn Automotive Group said:

“With Joe Ferrer’s drive and passion for being unsurpassed in customer service and parts availability, Pep Boys, Auto Plus, and BS&F have an excellent opportunity to drive commercial growth in the region.”

Icahn Automotive Group consists of Pep Boys, an automotive aftermarket retail and service chain, and Auto Plus, an automotive aftermarket parts distributor.
