Jim Hawk is adding another job title to his Toyo business card. The chairman of Toyo Tire Holdings of Americas Inc. and Toyo Tire North America Manufacturing Inc. has been appointed chairman and CEO of another Toyo subsidiary, Toyo Automotive Parts (USA) Inc.
Toyo Tire & Rubber Co. Ltd. says Hawk, a tire industry veteran of more than 40 years, will maintain his current responsibilities as leader of Toyo's tire business in the U.S. Hawk additionally serves as president of Toyo Tire North America Original Equipment Sales LLC.
Toyo's automotive parts business supplies anti-virbation rubber parts and bushings to original equipment manufacturers from its plant in Franklin, Ky.
Hawk joined Toyo in 2004 to oversee planning and then management of the tire maker's plant in White, Ga. In 2016 he was elected chairman of the Rubber Manufacturers Association board of directors.
