K&M Tire Expands to the East With Acquisition of MotoStar Tire

K&M Tire Inc. is moving into the northeastern U.S. with the acquisition of MotoStar Tire and Auto Products Inc.

MotoStar, which was founded in 1993 by Gene Bova, has distribution facilities in Albany, N.Y., Merrimack, N.H., and Lisbon Falls, Maine.

Adding the MotoStar operations into K&M's business gives the Delphos, Ohio-based tire distributor 26 locations in 14 states. K&M says its market reach spans customers in 27 states.

MotoStar's business served customers across seven states.  Bova says, “We have known K&M for a long time and respect their business model and focus. Adding K&M’s strengths to MotoStar makes us very excited about the future.”
