Sentury Tire USA showcased a new tire and a new size in its booth at the 2017 Global Tire Expo, which will run through Nov. 3 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The Global Tire Expo is part of the dannual SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) Show.
The new Delinte DS7 Sport is so new, its size complement hasn't been finalized. The tire on display was a 255/35ZR18 XL 94Y. The ultra-high performance tire enhances both the high performance and all-season capabilities of the company's D7.
Sentury Tire USA also displayed two project vehciles in its booth (No. 43197). A 2018 Maserati Levante was equipped with Delinte DS8 performance SUV tires, while a 2018 Mercedes AMG G63 was fitted with Delinte DX10 all-terrain tires.
On the Mercedes, the Delinte DX10 tire was a new, rare size for an all-terrain tire: 285/40R24. Sales Director Nick Gutierrez said there is high demand for a larger rim diameter tire with an all-terrain look for vehicles like Chevy Suburbans and 1/2-ton pickups. No additional modifications to the vehicle are needed when upgrading to the 24-inch DX10, he added."Our project vehicles highlight our diverse brand line-up," said Executive Vice President Maxwell Wee. "Whether it is a high-end luxury car or an off-road vehicle, we have the brands, models and sizes to fit the majority of vehicle fitments on the road today -- especially high performance tires with 20 to 24-inch wheel diameters."
Sentury Tire USA also provided Delinte and Landsail tires to the Giovanni 20th Anniversary Celebration, which was held on Nov. 2 at Towbin Motorcars in Las Vegas. Attendees could check out the brands on 2018 vehicles such as the Rolls Royce Wraith, Dawn and Ghost; the Bentley GT/Flying Spur; the Maserati Ghibli/Quattroporte; and the Ferrari California.
