Tenneco’s Expert Plus Dealer Loyalty Program to Celebrate 20 Years

Nov. 2, 2017

In 2018, Tenneco Inc. will celebrate the 20th anniversary of its Expert Plus loyalty program with a variety of additional rewards including point-of-sale merchandise for new members and those who have been loyal supporters over the years.

The Expert Plus program provides a complete set of educational, promotional and awareness tools that are aimed at helping automotive service providers boost business in these critical categories.

“It’s a special year that we want to celebrate with our loyal partners,” says Sheryl Bomia, North America aftermarket programs manager, Tenneco. “We’re paying homage to those who have been with us since the beginning and those who have recently joined. It’s a great year to become a member of Expert Plus; it’s our most robust program to date.”

The 2018 program gives members access to a profit-producing 10-coupons “preferred consumer” rebate book that includes Monroe and Walker offer extensions; a year-long calendar of consumer and trade promotions designed to help increase business; access to a comprehensive eLearning program; and a complete point-of-sale kit.

The kit features a Monroe illuminated wall sign that showcases the importance of ride control replacement and vehicle maintenance; educational computer decals; floor graphics; and additional point-of-sale materials.

When a member renews for 2018, bonus points will be awarded based upon multi-year, continuous involvement in the program. Members who have participated in the program consecutively for five or more years will be eligible for varying levels of bonus points. Bomia adds, “We’re doing even more to reward those members who have partnered with us year after year. We’re honored to have legacy members who have been with us from the start. It certainly speaks to the value of this program.”

Many of the enhancements to Expert Plus are aimed at driving increased engagement and interaction with members. This includes a new Expert Plus website, which features a fresh design and menu options in a mobile-optimized format, along with online surveys for additional points. The new e-store will make it easier for members to acquire promotional merchandise, tools and branded apparel, and allow for payment via credit card or Expert Plus points. Each member shop receives access to an expanded catalog of ride control, emissions control and brakes technical eLearning courses.

Other benefits for Expert Plus members include enrollment into Tenneco’s Monroe and Walker Dealer Locator consumer search tools, located at www.monroe.com and www.walkerexhaust.com and within the Monroe shocks and Walker emissions control mobile app, along with free downloads of Tenneco’s ERIS electronic catalog of emissions control systems and ride control components.

To enroll, the company says to contact your Tenneco sales representative. The enrollment fee for the annual program is $120 (U.S. and Canada).
