Tire Discounters Inc. has opened an outlet in Huntsville, Ala., the first of several the company has planned for that market.
“Between our customer-friendly policies and the great local folks we’ve hired, it’s a big win for us and for the community,” says Crissy Niese, senior vice president and chief customer officer.
The first store in Huntsville will be on Hwy. 72, and the second will be in the Midtown Marketplace in Madison. Both stores are expected to open in November. Each new store will employ 10 to 13 people, ranging from entry-level tire technicians to ASE certified technicians and general managers. In addition to tires, Tire Discounters will offer a wide variety of automotive services.
Tire Discounters is ninth on the Modern Tire Dealer 100 list of top independent tire dealers in the U.S. with more than 100 locations in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, Georgia, and now Alabama.
