Isaac Tire readies new commercial outlet for early-summer launch

March 19, 2001

Fort Wayne, Ind.-based Isaac Tire Inc. is working on a new commercial tire service center that will open in June.

The multi-bay facility will be open 20 hours a day, according to Isaac Tire Vice President Rick Slaybaugh, instead of 10 hours a day, which is currently the company's standard. It will run eight service trucks around-the-clock and offer a variety of services, "anything from fixing a mud flap to full tire work. We also will offer alignments."

Founded in 1957, Isaac Tire retreads 400 commercial truck tires a day. It is the 36th largest retreader in the United States, according to Modern Tire Dealer statistics.
