Clif Armstrong is taking his 20-plus years of commercial tire experience to Marangoni Tread North America Inc., where he will serve as vice president of new business development.
Armstrong joins Marangoni after a stint at Pirelli's TP Commercial Solutions LLC, and also has worked for Continental Tire the Americas LLC and Yokohama Tire Corp. Marangoni says he will be a key contributor to help the company "increase market strength, market share and customer satisfaction."
Marangoni is also adding two more people to its sales team to answer to increased market demand.
Michael Aguon has been hired as a regional sales manager. Aguon has more than 25 years in the tire industry in various management roles with several tire entities including Bridgestone, Alliance Tire Group, CFI Tire Service and BKT USA Inc.. He started his career at Bridgestone in the sales engineering department, and was promoted to the off-the-road tire division where he held several positions including OTR field engineering manager, and major mine account executive.
Phil McDonald will serve as a regional sales manager in the Northeast. McDonald brings with him well over 30 years in the tire industry that includes working for Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., OTR Wheel Engineering and Hankook Tire America Corp. Throughout his career he's held various management positions that include commercial new tire sales, retreading, distribution and national accounts.
