Falken Targets Two Market Segments With Two New Tires

Falken Tire Corp. has two new all-season tires. The Ziex CT60 A/S is a performance tire for cross-over vehicles and the Sincera SN201 A/S is a performance tire for compact and mid-size vehicles.

Ziex CT60

Built specifically with the height of modern crossovers in mind, the new Ziex CT60 optimizes the safety and performance of vehicles with a higher center of gravity that would otherwise be sacrificed by tires developed for passenger cars or pickups, according to Falken.

The company says the new Ziex CT60 A/S features advanced all-season tread compound technology, providing a safer, more durable year-round tire.

The crossover-specific tire construction ensures the tire footprint is always firmly in contact with the road, providing optimal handling, stability and defense against rough weather conditions and other road surface defects.

The CT60 all-season has been constructed so that drivers will experience shorter stopping distances in wet and snowy weather without compromise to tread life, according to Drew Howlett, product manager.

“With more than 40 million crossovers on the road, many introduced and purchased within the last five years, this is a tremendous market,” says Howlett. “Many of the CUV’s on the road today are now just experiencing their first replacement tire cycle,” Howlett added.  “Falken is excited to launch our first CUV-specific tire for this growing market segment.”

The new Ziex CT60 is available in more than 30 original equipment tire sizes, covering virtually every crossover vehicle on the road today, and is backed by Falken’s 65,000-mile limited tread life warranty, along with a 30-day ride guarantee and road hazard protection.

Sincera SN201 A/S

The new Sincera SN201 A/S is designed for compact and mid-size vehicles. The company says it produces superb all-weather responsiveness and excellent durability through an advanced manufacturing process.

The tire is engineered to meet critical touring tire expectations and is available in 14-inch to 18-inch rim diameters.

The SN201 A/S is available in both T & H speed ratings with Falken’s 65,000-mile limited tread life warranty and the company’s 30-day ride guarantee.

“Falken is committed to producing high quality tires and offering them to our customers at extremely affordable prices,” says Howlett. “The Sincera SN201 A/S is a prime example of that mission.  It is a brilliantly manufactured tire aimed squarely at one of our biggest markets – owners of Ford Focus, Honda Accord and Civic, Nissan Altima, Hyundai Elantra and Sonata and Toyota Camry and Corolla – and it will provide buyers with tremendous value.”

Falken says its engineers have determined, based on mulitple tests, that the SN201 A/S excels in ride comfort, long tread life, fuel efficiency, low noise and great winter handling and performance in the wet.

“Taken together, the Sincera SN201 all-season – with its symmetrical rib design, solid center rib, high sipe density, four circumferential grooves and angled tread grooves – is a solid tire that customers can feel confident will handle well in all weather conditions,” Howlett says.
