Team Toyo’s Kyle Leduc Wins Round 12

Sept. 19, 2017

Team Toyo’s Kyle LeDuc scored an important victory this past Saturday during Round 12 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series at the Glen Helen Raceway near San Bernardino, CA.

The win makes LeDuc the favorite to capture the championship with only one race remaining in the series.  If he wins, that will be a record fourth consecutive Pro 4 Class championship for LeDuc… his fifth Pro 4 class championship overall.

LeDuc demonstrated his speed during Friday night’s Round 11 by getting into the lead early.  He fought hard until an incident put him out of the race.  In Round 12, he showed his determination by qualifying fastest, and then battling hard to win the race while driving his #99 Monster Energy / Toyo Tires Ford truck running Toyo Open Country M/T-R tires.

“This weekend, we were on fire,” said LeDuc.  “We had some good battles, some good luck, and some bad.  But, we always pulled through with hard work and a killer set of Toyo Open Country M/T-R tires.”

“We congratulate Kyle LeDuc for winning Round 12 at Glen Helen and maintaining the championship points lead,” said Stan Chen, senior manager of events and sponsorships, Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp.  “Kyle has one race left to make history in the Pro 4 Class while running Toyo Open Country M/T-R tires.”

The final race to determine the 2017 championship will be held Saturday, October 21 at the Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park in Chandler, AZ.  On Sunday, October 22, LeDuc will have a chance to compete in the prestigious Pro 2 VS Pro 4 Challenge Cup Race, a big money race mixing Pro 2 and Pro 4 classes head-to-head.
