Hankook Tire America Corp. will increase prices up to 3.5% on its commercial products on Oct. 1, 2017.
Hankook previously increased prices on April 1.
The company says it set “stern limits” on the April 1 increase in order to protect customers. However, the company says the modest increase left it “under-recovered.” Hankook is taking further pricing action due to other business factors such as increasing operating and production costs.
