The new vice president of sales for The Hybrid Shop is Carey Mellor, who was hired to spearhead a team focused on growing the franchised dealers nationwide.
As part of Mellor's 30-year career in the automotive tire and repair industry, he was vice president of sales and marketing with AmPac Tire Dist. Inc., and was involved in the development and launch of the Tire Pros retail franchise program. He also has served as the vice president of the Tire Pros Western Division under American Tire Distributors Inc.
For the last five years, Mellor has been an independent business consultant with a global diversified client base, specializing in retail; marketing and franchise development; sales management; manufacturing partnerships; distribution; strategic planning; e-commerce; and coordination of multi-brand strategies.
His clients have included businesses in the United States, United Kingdom, Central Europe, South Korea and China. His work with The Hybrid Shop has been instrumental in the development of the revised franchise program.
