Learn About TPMS From Schrader at the SEMA Show and AAPEX

Oct. 26, 2018

W. Rippetoe, the senior technical lead for Schrader Performance Sensors, a part of Sensata Technologies Inc., will be sharing his tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) expertise with attendees of both the 2018 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show and the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX). Rippetoe will offer his TPMS know how in sessions for three straight days:

  • On Oct. 30, Rippetoe will be part of a panel of TPMS experts leading the Tire Industry Association's TPMS at 10 session. The class begins at 10 a.m. in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, Room S115.
  • On Oct. 31, he'll move to AAPEX, and at 2 p.m. will take the Let's Tech stage to talk about Schrader's new 90-degree EZ-sensor technology. The company says it's the first to help owners with wheel applications featuring 90-degree valve holes. He'll talk about applications, installation details and programability, and also take questions from the audience.
  • At 10 a.m. on Nov. 1, Rippetoe will return to the Let's Tech stage at AAPEX to talk about TPMS best practices. He'll cover the importance of conducting a 'test before touch' procedure before every TPMS service, as well as replacing service kits, programming, relearning, customer engagement and more. A question-and-answer session will round out the presentation.

No registration is required to attend these events.

Schrader will be on the floor of both the SEMA Show (booth No. 40101)  and AAPEX (booth No. 1584).
