Two 18-inch Vredestein premium tires have been selected as original equipment for the new Volkswagen Touareg in Europe.
The two tires chosen by Volkswagen AG for fitment on the new flagship SUV are:
1. Vredestein Quatrac 5, size 255/60 R18 108V. Apollo Tires Ltd. says more than 5 million units of the all-season tire have been sold since its introduction in 2014. It features the 3-Peak Mountain Snowflake symbol.
2. Vredestein Ultrac Satin, size 255/60R18 108W. The summer tire features low rolling resistance, a unique traction-enhancing resin and Z-shaped grooves in the tread.
Apollo says both tire models offer high comfort and outstanding performance, and generate exceptionally low noise levels. They also have received green European Union tire labels for wet grip and fuel efficiency.
