There are nearly 450 Big O Tires LLC stores in 23 states, but franchisees in Colorado, Utah and California earned the company's top award for their performance in 2017.
The 2017 Franchisees of the Year are:
- Brian and Chad Cunningham, multi-store owners in Colorado;
- Kent and Kory Coleman, multi-store owners in Utah; and
- Chris Monteverde, a multi-store owner in California.
The top 40 Big O Tires stores are eligible. Candidates submit information on their community involvement and an executive committee considers that material, along with feedback from other franchisees to pick the winners.
The program recognizes franchisees that have implemented best practices, succeeded in the industry, and have given back to both their fellow franchisees and their communities.

Brian and Chad Cunningham focus their business on the needs of their customers to ensure each one leaves happy. Their desire to help extends to their community and through local organizations. Kent and Kory Coleman believe the recipe for success lies in investing in their business, their people, their facilities and their community to create a long-term impact. They've created a workplace where team members can strive to exceed customer expectations.
Chris Monteverde believes in investing in his locations and his associates. He says training is essential for continual growth and he has a dedicated training room for associate development opportunities. Big O Tires says Monteverde is committed to giving back to his stores, and his community.
