ITRA selects Bishop for International Tire and Rubber Industry Hall of Fame

Truflex/Pang founder and tire repair industy veteran George Bishop will be inducted into the International Tire & Rubber Industry Hall of Fame at the World International Tire & Rubber Association (ITRA) Expo in Nashville, Tenn., this April.

Also at the event , Ray “Gus” Hawkinson Jr., former president of Paul E. Hawkinson Co.; Continental Tire North America Inc.; and Michelin Tire North America Inc. will be recipients of “Industry Leadership” awards. Mark Whaley, vice president of sales and marketing for Iowa Mold Tooling; John West; and the Columbus McKinnon Corp. will receive “Friend of the Industry” awards. Gaither Tool Co. will receive ITRA’s Pioneer Award.
