Simple Tire Founders Award Scholarships at Alma Mater

June 21, 2018

Simple Tire LLC has awarded business scholarships to a pair of graduates from Lawrence High School in Lawrenceville, N.J. The brothers who founded Simple Tire, Andy and Josh Chalofsky, both graduated from the school. Andy, a 2004 graduate, presented the scholarships for the second year.

“Attending Lawrence High School was such an important and amazing time for my brother (Josh, class of 2002) and me,” says Andy Chalofsky. “Lawrence provided the foundation for us to discover and pursue our entrepreneurial dreams. This scholarship is a small way for us to express our deepest gratitude for the school and teachers, and to help inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs.”

The 2018 recipients are Sara Hatfield and Victoria Weirzbowicz, who graduated on June 20. The pair were recognized for their academic success, high proficiency in business education, achievements in DECA Inc., and for being well-rounded students.

Hatfield plans to attend the University of Maryland - College Park to pursue a degree in community health and minor in non-profit business and Spanish. Wierzbowicz plans to attend Gettysburg College to pursue a degree in organization and management studies.
