Atturo Tire Corp. is a specialist producer and supplier of tires dedicated to the SUV, crossover, 4x4 and light truck sectors. Based in Waukegan, Ill., the enterprising American company still found time to support the first Tire Cologne show in Europe.
The Tire Cologne was held May 29-June 1, 2018, in Cologne, Germany.
The Atturo booth featured a collection of stylish and aggressive designs to meet the demands of both on- and off-road drivers. Modern Tire Dealer chatted with several members of the company’s sales team, who explained that Atturo is unique because they particularly focus on providing tires for "outdoor adventure" activities.
Atturo's comprehensive range includes the Trail Blade A/T for trucks incorporating a heavy-duty carcass for challenging construction work. The AZ850 is ideal for SUV, crossovers and sport truck tires as it includes a special symmetric tread design with different inside and outside tire contours to enhance optimum balance across the tread area.
The AZ800 passenger tire provides reassuring high speed stability, while the AZ610 is another touring pattern for SUV’s and crossovers. Finally, for winter driving the AW730 Ice is available in both studless and studdable options and has a directional tread and contoured sipes for total control in severe winter conditions.
