Organizers of the 16th China International Tire Expo (CITEXPO) expect more than 15,000 industry professionals to be at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Centre Aug. 20-22, 2018.
The exposition will feature 400 exhibitors from 120 countries.
The 2017 show set attendance records with more than 13,900 professional visitors from 115 countries.
For 2018, the show’s organizers promise to “dig deeper into the latest information and look at the state of the industry from a higher vantage point and a wider perspective.”
China International Tire Expo aims to provide an international trade and negotiation platform for the industry. It also is a bridge for the implementation of the "Belt and Road Initiative "strategic plan for the Chinese tire industry, as well as a platform for introduction, digestion and absorption of innovation.
The tradeshow showcases China's tire and rim products as well as advanced technologies, products, management concepts and business models from China and abroad. Through exchanges and cooperation, the event’s goal is to create more opportunities to boost the overall level of Chinese tire and wheel industry and its innovation and development, according to show organizers.
The exhibition gathers high-quality tire brands from China and abroad. The exhibits cover various types of tires, peripheral accessories for tires, tire repairs, testing and tire changing equipment, tools and services, tire wheel production equipment and raw materials, tire retreading equipment and raw materials, and other related facilities. Services and products through the entire vehicle, aftermarket accessory market are fully covered: distribution channels, post-replacement markets, consumer applications, and after-sales maintenance.
The exhibition center's 40,000 square meters (more than 430,000 square feet) will be divided into the following areas:
- tires, casings and tubes;
- wheels/rims;
- tire accessories;
- equipment for tire repairs;
- materials, plants, equipment and tools for tire and wheel production;
- tire retreading; and
- other related services and products.
