GRI Takes New Tires to International Fairs

April 19, 2018

The work by Global Rubber Industries Pvt. Ltd. (GRI) to expand its reach into the agricultural and construction industries continues with the launch of new material handling tires, construction tires and skid steer tires. GRI will take its first pneumatic construction and industrial tires created in its new factory to the International Exhibition for Construction and Infrastructure (Intermat) in Paris, as well as CeMat in Germany.

The Globestar Wide Tread (WT) material handling tire, the GripEx and GripXLR construction tires and the XPT SS and XPT skid steer tires will all be in GRI's Stand No. 5A C 058 at Intermat, April 23-28.

The Globestar WT was conceptualized and developed by observing the market and finding an increased need for wide-tread tires to support the demands of high load carrying capacity, extensive tire life and enhanced stability. The tire is a universal solid tire designed to deliver performance. It is one of the widest tires in the industry, and the wide tread and flat crown radius is designed for maximum tire life. The deep lugs of the Globestar WT provide traction with high stability in normal working environments. The wide-tread also prevents tire distortion while cornering. The Globestar WT is built with natural-rubber compounds that ensure good resilience and high tensile strength. GripEx construction tires provide machine stability in demanding operations. The unique hook tread pattern increases traction. The specially designed heat dissipating notch maximizes surface exposure so that heat generated inside can easily dissipate to the outside, thereby enhancing the runtime and durability of the tire. The self-cleaning terrace keeps the tire clean of mud and dirt and makes the machine more energy efficient.

The XPT SS tire is developed for demanding use on skid-steer loaders. It is designed with extra deep directional tread and curved lugs to provide traction and durability. It also features an extra thick sidewall, aiding in reducing stress cracking. The XPT SS is built with advanced cut and chip resistance natural rubber compound offering maximum tire life.

At CeMat in Germany, GRI will showcase the Globestar WT and XPT SS, in addition to the LiftEx tire for heavy duty use on forklifts.

The tread design on the LiftEx provides a massive footprint and a unique lug pattern that assures optimal grip and traction in every condition. The sidewalls are enhanced by multiple layers of reinforcement and a wide rim guard. The increased footprint, contact area and the reinforce sidewall ensure high load carrying capacity.

GRI will be set up at CeMat April 23-27 in Hall 26, Stand F10.
