Duran Motorsports Primed For San Felipe 250 With Radar Tires

April 10, 2018

Radar Tires, the flagship brand of Omni United, enters San Felipe 250 in Class 10 with Duran Motorsports.

Duran Motorsports owner/driver Hiram Duran, looks to capture the championship title during the 2018 long course off-road racing season, primed with the winning combination of Radar Tires, Method Race Wheels, King Shocks and Baja Designs.

The championship quest kicks-off this weekend at the 32nd San Felipe 250. The season opening
race starts and finishes in down town San Felipe, along the beautiful Sea of Cortez, approximately
125 miles south of the U.S. border. The one loop race distance is approximately 319 miles and
starts and finishes for the second time on the Malecon. It runs over high-speed dry lake beds,
through low-speed winding, rock-strewn, twisting canyons and trails, along quick-paced dirt roads
and through four of Baja’s most infamous washes in Las Cuevitas, Matomi, Huatamote and
Amarillo.

Hiram and brother Evan Duran will share the driving duties of the No. 1016 Duran Motorsports
Buggy with special non-DOT size 33X10.50R15 Radar Renegade R5 race tires in Class 10.

“After testing Radar Tires out at last years’ Baja 1000, I’m confident in their performance and
durability in some of the harshest conditions in the world,,” said Hiram Duran, owner/driver of the
No. 1016 Duran Motorsports Class 10 Buggy. “We’re going for a podium and solid finishes this
season and will chase the SCORE class championship. We’re very confident in our car, especially
our tires.”

The approximate race start for Class 10 is 10 a.m. (PT) on Saturday, April 7. Live pre-race and
race day internet coverage for the 32nd SCORE San Felipe 250 airs on www.scoreinternational.
