Team Falken has announced that veteran team driver and long-time Formula Drift competitor Justin “JTP” Pawlak will continue his relationship with Falken Tires for the upcoming Formula D season.
Pawlak will field a new 2018 Ford Mustang GT, dressed in the tire brand’s traditional teal and blue livery.
Pawlak joined Team Falken in 2010 when he began driving a Ford Mustang. He has been competing in Formula Drift since 2008, and has earned five wins thus far, including 1st at the Formula D Monterrey, Mexico, Invitational in his first year of competition. “It has been – and continues to be – an honor to drive for Falken Tires,” stated Pawlak. “I am so grateful to my teammates, my crew and Falken who continues to deliver the finest street tire that is perfect for control and performance, the Azenis RT615K+.
