It's a bit of an understatement to say Pirelli & Cie SpA likes the Geneva International Motor Show. Pirelli tires are installed on 60% of the prestige cars at the show, as well as a quarter of the premium vehicles.
Pirelli says it now has more than 2,700 homologations — original equipment fitments. The company is the only tire supplier for prestige brands Maserati, Lamborghini, McLaren and Pagani, and is a major supplier for Aston Martin, Bentley, Ferrari and Porsche as well.
Premium car makers like Alfa Romeo, Audi, BMW, Mercedes Jaguar and Land Rover are frequent OE customers.
Pirelli highlights the work it does to tailor make tires for these top car manufacturers, and says it requires "close collaboration" to spotlight each car's performance and dynamic qualities.
This highlights Pirelli’s status as the preferred choice of premium and prestige manufacturers thanks to Pirelli’s perfect fit strategy, which produces made-to-measure tires specifically tailored to each car’s technical demands.
