East Bay Tire Co. has established a permanent service location in Yuma, Ariz.
“East Bay Tire has had a presence in Yuma for several years," says George Pehanick, CEO of East Bay Tire. "Establishing a permanent service center will help us maintain continuity with the customers and businesses that transition from the Salinas Valley to Yuma throughout the year."
The business is located at 3474 E. 32nd St. In addition to local service and sales professionals, Adalino Figueroa joins East Bay Tire as manager of the new service center. Figueroa brings 24 years of tire industry experience including commercial and retail tire sales, tire service, and managing wholesale tire programs. Prior to joining the company, Figueroa spent several years as West Coast zone manager for Balkrishna Industries Limited (BKT) specializing in ag tire sales.
In addition to providing a large inventory of tires and tire products, the new location will allow East Bay Tire to expand tire services offered to customers including fleet service, 24-hour emergency assistance, tire foam filling and mobile tire press for solid forklift tires.
“We are pleased with the growth we’ve experienced in recent months in Yuma and look forward to the many opportunities Adalino and his team will bring in 2018,” says John Hulsey, general manager of East Bay Tire.
The business was founded in 1946 in Oakland, Calif., and serves markets in California and Hawaii. East Bay Tire is in its fourth generation of family ownership.
