Goodyear Adds Tire With 85,000-Mile Warranty to Assurance Family

Jan. 26, 2018

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. introduced a passenger tire with an 85,000-mile tread wear warranty to 1,550 dealers attending its 2018 Customer Conference in Nashville, Tenn.

The company says the new Assurance MaxLife, the highest-mileage tire in its nearly 120-year history, is designed for savvy consumers looking for quality with long-lasting value

The newest addition to the Assurance family delivers up to 30% more miles of all-season traction compared to the standard all-season tire, according to Goodyear.

The Goodyear Assurance MaxLife also features a tread wear gauge that shows how much tread life remains as the tire wears, allowing drivers to conveniently read their tread depth through built-in wear gauges at any time.

“The Goodyear Assurance MaxLife combines years of experience with today’s technology to deliver long wear, reliability and great value for consumers,” says Andy Traicoff, vice president, North America Sales.

The Goodyear Assurance MaxLife is available in 45 sizes, from 15 inches to 20 inches, and covers 75% of the cars, minivans and SUVs on the road today.

The tire fits vehicles like the Ford Escape; Toyota Camry, Corolla and RAV 4; Nissan Altima and Rogue; Honda Accord, Civic and CR-V; and Kia Sorrento.

Since 2004, Goodyear has sold more than 60 million Assurance tires. Goodyear also launched an all-weather pursuit tire for law enforcement fleets, three commercial tires and a waste-haul retread at its customer conference, which concludes on Jan. 28.
