Alliance Tire Americas Inc. (ATA) has established a new organizational structure and named Dhaval Nanavati president.
Nanavati’s new role combines sales, operational and leadership responsibilities for both the North American market and the South American region. His appointment is effective immediately.
Nanavati received his MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Business and has worked in various roles for Alliance Tire since 2011, most recently as vice president of aftermarket sales at ATA and as president of the South American sales organization.
“As we move into 2018, customer dynamics are changing, and the competition is getting fierce. We’re confident in Dhaval’s experience and leadership to continue and to build on ATA’s multi-year history of delivering double-digit growth,” says Nitin Mantri, ATA director. “Dhaval is well known to customers in both North and South America and is uniquely qualified to lead the ATA organization to its next level of success.”
James Clark, president of ATA since 2014, has elected to leave to pursue other opportunities, according to the company.
ATA is the American sales and marketing arm of the Alliance Tire Group (ATG), a global manufacturer of the Alliance, Galaxy, and Primex brands of agricultural, logging and other off-the-road (OTR) tires. Wakefield, Mass.-based ATA is also the exclusive U.S. distributor for Aeolus truck, bus and OTR tires, and also markets its own Constellation brand of truck tires. ATA has U.S.-based field engineering, R&D, sales and customer service staff.
