Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. will increase Goodyear, Kelly and Dunlop brand consumer tire prices by 4% to 5%, effective Dec. 1.
Goodyear says the increases are necessary due to rising raw material costs.
The company raised its Goodyear brand commercial truck tire prices by 4% last month.
Other tiremakers have recently increased their prices.
Kumho Tire U.S.A Inc. hiked its passenger and light truck tire prices between 3% and 5% on Nov. 1.
Yokohama Tire Corp. also raised its passenger and light truck tire prices by 4% to 6% and its medium truck, OTR and commercial light truck tire prices by 3% to 5% earlier this month.
