Yokohama will go all out in India

The Indian subsidiary of Yokohama Rubber Co. Ltd. will exhibit at the 2012 Auto Expo in New Delhi, India, Jan. 5-11. This will be the third time  Yokohama India Private Ltd. will participate in the country's largest motor show, which is held every two years.

The exhibition at the Yokohama booth is designed to enhance recognition of the brand. It will be "fully focused on the high levels of performance and quality of Yokohama tires," according to the company.

To that end, the complete lineup of products will be shown, starting with the premium, global flagship brand, Advan; Geolander tires for SUVs; the ".drive" series, a major line for overseas markets; and the Parada line, which targets luxury vehicles.

The vehicle that competed this year in India's popular Raid De Himalaya rally and won on Advan A035 tires also will be shown in booth No. 8211.

Organizers of the 11th Auto Expo are expecting 1.4 million visitors, and increase of 16.6% over attendance in 2010. Approximately 1,500 companies from 23 countries will take part this year.
