All tire and rim manufacturers recommend cleaning the nuts and studs whenever a tire is serviced for proper wheel maintenance and precise torquing, the company points out.
The Myers Wheel Nut and Stud Cleaning kit includes everything needed to quickly and easily complete the job. Four specialized cleaning brushes clean grime and rust from the bolt holes. Wheel studs are cleaned using one of the four stud brushes.
The kit includes a 1,800 rpm 1/4-inch reversible air tool with a quick change retainer, four replacement stud cleaning brushes and a heavy-duty plastic carrying case.
