Hankook teams with college b-ball tournaments

Hankook Tire America Corp. is taking its sports marketing strategy to the hoop -- specifically the NCAA men's college basketball hoop.

During nine basketball tournaments in November and December, Hankook signage  will be featured at courtside. The tournaments will be broadcast not only nationwide, but also on  multiple television networks.

Hankook brand exposure will be present at the following events:

1. Ticket City Classic-Austin,

2. CBE Classic,

3. Charleston Classic,

4. Puerto Rico Tip Off,

5. Ticket City Classic-N.Y./N.J.;

6. Maui Invitational,

7. Jimmy V Classic,

8. NIT-Season Tip Off, and

9. Showcase.

Hankook Tire’s advertising participation with men’s college basketball is the company’s latest sports marketing effort to increase brand awareness in the United States. In addition to home plage signage at 22 Major League Baseball team ballparks this year, the company is has participated in a number of motorsports events.
