Dunn Tire launches enhanced website

Nov. 15, 2011

Buffalo, N.Y.-based Dunn Tire has launched a new and enhanced website at www.dunntire.com designed to make it quicker and easier for users to find the information they need, while at the same time providing the user with a more personalized experience.

The company reports the most used application on the website, the “Find Your Tire” section, has been redesigned so users can quickly search for tires by vehicle type or by tire size. The results can then be filtered by manufacturer, season, price, warranty, sidewall or performance rating. Descriptive information on each tire has also been expanded to help the user make the right tire decision for their needs. A real-time price quotation will calculate total price, and explain all that is included in Dunn Tires’ out-the-door price.

“Our goal was to create a state-of-the-art website that gives our customers everything they need in a tire site,” says Chuck Haring, director of marketing and advertising for Dunn Tire, “from education and research; to shopping and comparing; to choosing the right tire and reserving it at the most convenient store. We’ve made it very easy to use.

“This website is designed with the user in mind,” says Haring. “It provides detailed information in an intuitive and easy to use format to help users make smart decisions. We have great new features on this site and we’ll be making continual improvements to it based on customer feedback.”

Tire education information is available through the Learning Center and Dunn Tire blog; and current promotions are prominently displayed to help customers save money.

More informational video and audio has been added to the site, and a “Financing” section has been added where users can now apply for instant financing, including six months interest free.

“Our website is a direct reflection of improvements we’ve been making to our customer experience. We are confident our customers are going to love this new site,” Haring adds. “Our goal is to continually improve the experience our customers have with us, and our website is one of the primary contact points we have with our customers. So it has to be good.”

Dunn Tire has 31 retail locations from Erie Pa., to Syracuse N.Y. It’s been in operation since 1973 and is the 35th largest independent tire dealer chain, according to the Modern Tire Dealer 100.
