Hennelly Tire & Auto Inc., one of the largest tire store chains in the United States, recently opened its 33rd store. Based in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Hennelly Tire does business in Florida as The Tire Choice and Total Car Care.
The new eight-bay outlet is an out parcel to a Lowe's Companies Inc. building in Carrollwood, a suburb of Tampa. "This location should be one of our best performing stores since the demographics line up perfect with our go-to-market format," says Chairman and CEO Dan Hennelly.
The company is planning on opening six to 11 new stores in 2012, most of them from the ground up, he adds,
Tire Choice opened its 32nd store in March (see "From an empty building to the 32nds Tire Choice"). It is the 31st largest tire dealership on the Modern Tire Dealer 100 list.
